When we were younger our parents bought us all sorts of board game, we had Monopoly, Sorry, Checkers etc.... On Friday or Saturday night we would sit at the kitchen table and play. I would sit at one end of the table and my Dad would be at the opposite end, my sister and I would get to choose which game we would play. I hated Monopoly, because it took to long to play. We chose to play Sorry, now mind you it's not easy playing against your parents. We would start playing and it always seem that our Dad was the one that always got sent back to his home place in the game, he would lower his lips out in a pout and act like he was going to cry, by the time the game was over we would be

so hard at him. The only game I didn't like playing with him, was a card game called Spoons. This was a fast paced game and it involved using teaspoons from the kitchen. You had to get four of a kind and then reach and grab a spoon, if you didn't get the spoon you were out. Now mind you my Dad was a loving man, but he changed personalities when he played this game, he was very aggressive in this game

He would grab the spoon even if no one was reaching for them. Once we was playing and he grabbed the spoon along with my hand

and it hurt too. Now that I have children we try and play games on certain nights too, but I have figured out that Uno is not my game

my daughter aims for me all the time, and everytime I get on the Nascar game with my son, my car is hitting the wall, and somebody help me, if he puts all the drivers on that game,

I have discovered, I sure miss playing games with my parents, I cannot play with these new fangled ones that the kids have today

Have a great day everybody.
