Here it is Sunday morning, and I am listening to the rain hit the roof of my home. Jacob and Amber is fast asleep and husband is snoring louder than the radio playing softly in the background. I love to hear the rain go tap tap against the window pane. I watch two fat squirrels run through the trees in my front yard, trying to find a place to hide from the rain. There is a black bird sitting on the power line pole with his wings spread out, not sure if he is trying to dry his wings or if this is his way of washing the dust of his wings. Now if the blue tail lizard would remove hisself off my deck, I would like to get my Sunday paper before it gets soaked. I think of that song, RAINDROPS KEEP FALLING ON MY HEAD, as I run for the paper. Can't find a umbrella when you need one. that only means one thing, its out back covering the pool. Oh well every one have a good Sunday, and thank you Lord for the rain.

Our Independence Day, Thank you to all the troops serving to keep our freedom for us, and for those that served before us, we give thanks to you also. My sister in law will be leaving in August for Irag for a year. So we celebrate the freedom of our great nation, we should give thanks to those that is serving or has serve so we can celebrate this day. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR TROOPS.

My son will turn 14 on the 14th of this month. so I took him to Wal-Mart and told him to show me what he wanted for his birthday. 1. That was my first mistake, I bet we went through electronics three or four times 2. My second mistake was turning him loose in the first place. He showed me playstation 2 games, PSP games, he showed me movies he wanted, and then the shocker of them all was he wants a high powered BB gun, well now that I will have to REALLY think about. So what do you get him for his birthday, the games, that I have to sit down and learn how to play with him or do I get the movies that he wants, well its a good thing that his Gan Gan and his Aunt Debbie will be getting some of these things, Oh by the way, I just hope he dont shoot his eye out with the BB gun that he will be getting, but shhhhhhhhhhhhhh he dont know hes getting it.

I cant believe that my son will soon be 14 years old. He dont want anything simple in the form of a cake, he wants a air carrier or battleship. Now I can make a simple cake, but a battleship or air carrier, come on now. Well this Mom is going to do her best, went and bought airplanes if I make the carrier and got little army men with guns for the battleship. And if this comes out looking like a boat of any kind, will name it the USS BOOBOO. Wish me luck, because I am going to need it. MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM HELP PLEASE.

We took the kids shopping for school clothes, Jacob and his dad went one way, and Amber and I went the other way. Amber spots the Hannah Montana stuff right off, well due to her seizure medicine she has gained weight, at least the Doctor warned us this would happen. We only found one thing of Hannah Montana that would fit her. So I let her try it on to make sure it fit, and thank goodness it did, or I might have had a war on my hands. Im not sure what kids are wearing in school in other parts of the country, but my son has decided that wearing a tshirt under a dress shirt, either half buttoned or all the way buttoned is the new trend. It doesnt matter to Amber, as long as it fit her and looked good. She bought a t-shirt that fits her to a tee "OK IM PERFECT, Quit Staring" now that shirt was made for her, because she tells us that all the time. Jacob is into racing big time, his favorite driver is Earnhardt Jr. So we now have 5 Nascar shirts with something to do with the Earnhardts Sr and Jr. I also discovered what my parents went through as we was getting ready for school, ITS EXPENSIVE AS ALL GET OUT
