 12 Year Old Nurse

Well this has started out being a nasty week. I got sick on Tuesday and I had to go to the dr. I have a bad case of bronchitis and sinuitis. He gave me cough syrup and a anitbiotic to take three times a day. Well my daughter Amber has made herself my nurse for the time being. Im not able to sit up for long, because I start getting dizzy and have to lay down. Nurse Amber will make sure I have all my meds and she will cover me up and she will stay right next to me, to make sure I have everything I need. If I need something to eat, she will go get her big brother to help her fix it, or she will try and do it herself. This child is something else. So is her big brother, but lets not tell them right now, they will get a big head. Gotta love them kids

 Snake in the House

For those of you who want to know, it was a baby ground rattler, about 4 inches long and it came into the house through a hole where my cable was installed, That hole is now plugged up, so no more adventures for little slithering things

The Day the Snake Got In

This happened about 8 years ago, I was sitting here typing away talking to friends and I looked down and seen something in my living room floor. I thought it was a worm. On closer inspection, I discovered it was a baby snake. I climbed on top of the desk and laid across the filing cabinet. That little bugger curled up as little as it was. My so called friends was laughing their heads off at me. I called the police department and they sent and officer out here to retrieve the snake, needless to say, he didnt catch it either. So he called a animal rescue officer and he came out and put it in a bag, said he would take it across the street and release it, sorry sir, but you will take that snake 50 miles down the road and release it, I was scared it would remember how to get back here and come after me. After all left the house, I had to change clothes, I dont wonder why!!!!!

 MIRACLES

I believe in Miracles, how bout you? I have three in my life now, One my mom who was healed of cancer, my son Jacob and my daughter Amber. I was 16 years old and was told never ever think of having children of your own, you will not be able too. I had a disease called Polycystic Ovaries and it prevented me from having children. Well I decided that God was a better doctor, so I prayed, this was in October, right before Thanksgiving I found out I was pregnant with my son, the Drs. kept telling me the baby was a girl, no I fooled them I had a boy. Then 16 months later I had Amber, her heart was not beating right and they were scared I would lose her, but the Lord seen differently. I almost forgot, I have two more miracles, Jesse and Ben. These boys are my nephews. So always turn to God and let him be the Miracle in your life today.

Bus To School On First Day

My son Jacob will be going into the 9th grade next school term. I was sitting here thinking how grown up he has become, such a handsome young man. Then I remembered his first day of kindergarten and his first school bus ride. I was nervous about letting him ride that bus, but lucky me, he was excited about going. We walked to the bus stop and stood there with him, the bus pulled up and I expected him to grab my hand and start screaming I dont want to go Mommy. But that little fellow got on that bus, took a seat and never once looked back. I cried because he didnt need his mommy after all. Later that afternoon, I was standing in a neighbors yard, waiting on the bus, It came to a stop, and all the kids got off, No Jacob, I thought oh no, he didnt remember the bus number and he missed the bus, Just as I started home to call the school the bus rolled to a stop and the bus driver was laughing. Jacob had fallen asleep in the seat and she didnt see him, until he raised up and said I want to get off now. Way to go son.
